Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

  • Unbaked pie shell
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 cup dark brown Sugar
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped or whole pecans

Put pecans and chocolate chips in pie shell. Mix syrup, sugar, salt, butter,vanilla, bourbon and eggs in food processor or blender. Blend until smooth. Pour over pecans and chocolate chips in pe shell. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees. Test with a toothpick inserted in center. If it comes out clean the pie is done. Very rich, this pie easily serves 8.
