Mushroom and Wild Rice Soup

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (total) of onion, celery, and carrots chopped finely in food processor
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 oz. fresh button mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cans each cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cans milk or water
  • 1 package wild rice cooked according to package instructions
  • Garlic and onion powder, dill basil, oregano, white pepper
  • Powdered chicken bullion as needed for flavor

Cook vegetables in chicken broth until done. Add mushrooms and butter. Add soups, water, cooked rice, and seasonings. Simmer until heated through and all flavors blended.
